Waterbomb 2025 in Vietnam truly transformed the stage into a “water festival sanctuary” – where water, light and EDM music blended into one dynamic whole. Behind the continuous “water combat” moments and the countless scenes that made everyone want to raise their phones to record was a complete water system designed, installed and operated from A–Z by NLT Group.

End–to–end deployment from A–Z for a large–scale event
Right from the preparation phase, we received the requirements from the Waterbomb 2025 organizers and conducted on–site surveys to propose a suitable water system configuration. Items such as the water gun zone, water spray zones, audience interaction areas and connections to the main stage were all brought into a unified implementation plan.
At Waterbomb 2025, the stage was deployed under an “end–to–end A–Z” model, in which the entire water scope – from fixed nozzles, pumps and pipelines to interactive spray points – was designed and operated under a single synchronized scenario. Each water effect cluster had its own function, carefully calculated in terms of flow rate, pressure and safety margins to ensure it both met the show’s requirements and protected the audience experience.
Operational safety and quality control of all water elements
At Waterbomb 2025, every water unit we were responsible for was controlled in terms of pressure, shooting range, spray direction and impact area. These parameters were designed to create strong sensations while remaining within safety limits for the audience.
During the event, our technical team continuously monitored system performance and conducted on–site checks in crowded areas to ensure all equipment operated stably. Thanks to this level of control, Waterbomb 2025 maintained high excitement for participants while limiting risks in a context of constant, high–intensity interactions.

Pneumatic water cannons
Pneumatic water cannons were the most recognizable highlight at Waterbomb 2025. With long shooting range, powerful water jets and wide coverage, the cannon clusters were aimed towards the audience area, generating “waves of water” rolling out in unison every time they were triggered.
Thanks to properly engineered parameters, the pneumatic water cannons delivered powerful and stable spray effects without causing discomfort to participants. This was one of the key elements behind the impressive collective moments when water from the stage spread across the entire space below.
2D/3D rotating nozzles
The 2D/3D rotating nozzle system made the water space even more dynamic. From circular sprays and sweeping lateral jets to soft curved arcs, each movement was programmed to synchronize with the EDM beats on stage.
When combined with lighting, the water screens generated by the rotating nozzles created strong visual blocks and gave participants the feeling of standing inside a multi–layered, moving water space. This was a key layer of effect that helped Waterbomb 2025 stand apart from typical outdoor shows.
Water gun collection
Beyond fixed installations, Waterbomb 2025 also provided the audience with a wide range of water guns to actively join the “combat”. Various types of water guns were prepared, with different designs, sizes and shooting styles, suitable for groups of friends, couples or individual participants.
Thanks to these handheld water gun lines for the audience, people were not only watching water effects from the stage but also directly creating their own water battles. This significantly increased interaction density across the entire venue, fully reflecting the “go all out” spirit of Waterbomb 2025..
Beam and laser effects
Beam and laser effects played the role of linking water with the light space. As beam lights swept across water curtains or laser lines cut through the water mist, the event space became more multi–layered and visually deep. Synchronized closely with track duration and water spray sequences, these lighting effects made each climax moment dramatically more striking.
Participants were not only being “hit” by water, but were also “surrounded” by light and sound, creating a truly immersive experience both emotionally and visually.

Integrated system design for the stage, play zones and water spray areas
From the very first design drafts, we placed the stage, audience area and water spray zones on a shared technical layout. This made it possible to define exactly where water would originate, where it would flow and how coverage levels would differ across zones.
Thanks to this integrated approach, the water system did not interfere with equipment pathways, technical zones or emergency exits, while still ensuring the most suitable and optimized experience for audiences at every position.
Installation and operational testing to ensure safety and stability
During installation, each water cannon, nozzle and supply pipeline was set by us in the correct position, direction and parameters as per the design.
After completion, the system underwent multiple operational tests to evaluate pressure, spray range and stability under continuous running conditions. The goal of these tests was to ensure that once the real show started, all water elements would perform according to the script, without causing interruptions or creating unintended spray zones.
Continuous operational supervision throughout the event
During the entire Waterbomb 2025 event, our technical team was on–site to monitor the water system in real time. From the control area to each equipment cluster in the field, every abnormal signal was tracked and handled promptly.
This presence was especially critical during peak program segments, when water devices were being triggered at very high frequency. As a result, the system could maintain the continuous operating intensity expected of a water festival while still ensuring safety and proactive control in all situations.
