Job information
Work area: Northern region, Central region, Central Highlands, Ho Chi Minh City and Mekong Delta (priority given to candidates who can travel frequently)
Job responsibilities:
- Check and take off quantities from design drawings and shop drawings; prepare detailed quantity tables for each work item.
- Coordinate with the cost estimation department to develop bid prices and contract prices, and control costs during project implementation.
- Monitor additional quantities, prepare payment and final settlement dossiers with investors and subcontractors.
- Check the rationality of quantities, unit prices, and norms; propose cost-optimization solutions while ensuring quality.
- Store and update unit price data, norms, and QS templates for future projects.
Job requirements
- Graduated from university majoring in Construction Economics, Construction, Technical Infrastructure, or equivalent.
- At least 2–3 years of experience working as QS at construction, MEP, infrastructure, or EPC companies.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and quantity/cost estimation software (G8, Delta, Cubicost… is an advantage).
- Careful, honest, with logical thinking and strong ability to work with data.
- Able to read and understand construction contracts, with basic knowledge of payment – final settlement regulations.
