On January 16, 2025, Ba Dinh District officially inaugurated the Data Management, Integration and Analysis Center, marking an important milestone in the digital transformation journey and smart city development. The event represents a significant achievement reflecting the efforts of the district authorities and the strategic cooperation with NLT Group – the pioneering unit implementing the smart Ba Dinh lighting solution in this project.
This new center integrates data from multiple sources to enhance decision-making in economic planning, cultural development, environmental management, and public safety. With the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Information and Communications and various municipal departments and agencies, the inauguration highlighted the critical role of technology in improving efficiency, transparency, and responsiveness in district governance.
Within this project, NLT Group’s smart Ba Dinh lighting system plays a key role. Advanced technologies such as IoT, AI, and GIS are integrated to enable effective remote management and control, optimize energy consumption, and reduce CO₂ emissions, contributing to environmental protection.

Smart lighting system and the role of NLT Group
NLT Group has made a significant contribution to upgrading Ba Dinh District’s urban infrastructure by deploying a smart lighting system with a scale of 231 control cabinets and more than 4,000 modern LED luminaires. The system is designed on an IoT, AI technology and Smart Mesh LoRa platform, enabling efficient management and optimized operating costs.
The lighting system not only meets public lighting needs but also delivers outstanding benefits:
- Energy savings of up to 70% thanks to the use of Japanese LED chips with a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours.
- Reduction of CO₂ emissions, contributing to environmental protection and sustainable urban development.
- Flexible management through a digital GIS platform integrated with Website and Mobile App, allowing managers to easily monitor and control the system remotely.
