In Q1/2024, under Plan No. 102/KH-UBND dated 06/03/2024 on digital transformation and building a smart Ba Dinh District in 2024, NLT Group is honored to accompany Ba Dinh in the project to deploy a smart lighting system across the entire district.
According to the review, in Ha Noi City, the existing lighting system only meets basic social welfare needs at a minimum level, and there are still many problematic “dark spots” that need to be resolved.
In Ba Dinh District alone, there are 4,090 high-pressure lamps lighting more than 600 alleys and small lanes. This legacy lighting system consumes a lot of electricity, has been in place for a long time, does not provide sufficient illumination for road users and easily leads to accidents. The management, operation, maintenance and servicing of the lighting system still face many limitations and issues are not handled promptly.
To address this, we worked with central authorities to propose implementing digital transformation in urban lighting using advanced technology as an urgent task to enhance management and operation capacity for the public lighting system in the district, while saving electricity and operating/management costs.
The contract is implemented under a turnkey model. NLT Group will carry out all activities such as surveying, design and construction; supply and installation of equipment; software integration; as well as training and handover. The project is designed as a comprehensive, end-to-end solution including smart LED luminaires, lighting control cabinets, and a management and monitoring software platform based on 4.0 technologies such as IoT, AI and Cloud GIS, allowing local management or secure access via NLT Group’s website and mobile app.
