Sharing the joyful atmosphere of celebrating the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (30/4/1975 – 30/4/2024) and International Workers’ Day (1/5), the series of cultural and artistic events marking these major holidays in Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province took place successfully. In order to create attractive and unique products to stimulate the tourism market, NLT Group was honored to coordinate for the first time with the People’s Committee of Thu Dau Mot City to deliver a spectacular musical fountain show on the historic Sai Gon River.
The novelty in performance format attracted thousands of local residents to the riverbank area along the Sai Gon River and Bach Dang pedestrian street to admire the show. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Duong Province also recorded positive signals with a significant increase in visitor numbers compared to the same period in 2023. Specifically, during this holiday the province welcomed 151,000 tourists, including 145,000 domestic visitors and 6,000 international visitors compared to the same period in 2023. Tourism revenue increased by 18.6% year-on-year, reaching VND 83 billion. This is a positive result that helps confirm the tourism development potential of Binh Duong.

According to the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Duong Province, organizing cultural, sports and tourism activities not only helps fulfill important political tasks but also contributes to improving the spiritual and cultural life of people from all walks of life on the occasion of major national holidays and commemorations.
Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Director of the Center for Culture, Information and Sports of Thu Dau Mot City, said that the rivers flowing through the heart of the city have been associated with its hundred-year development history, creating vibrant economic and cultural activities and shaping the unique identity of the urban landscape. From the meaning of honoring natural beauty and the development journey that harmonizes between waterways and people, the Sai Gon – Thu Dau Mot City Musical Fountain Program has become the most unique landmark event ever held in the city.
With the theme “Thu Dau Mot firmly stepping into the future”, NLT Group applied 3D technology, high-power laser projection on a water screen combined with a musical fountain system programmed to music. The lighting system was carefully calculated in detail for each performance item to create the most realistic images, vividly depicting the glorious history of the nation and the homeland. It also serves as a metaphor for the prosperous development that the tourism industry will bring to the Sai Gon River.
The nightly musical fountain performances from 27/04 to 05/05 certainly created unforgettable, visually striking moments for audiences thanks to the remarkable image quality, sound and lighting, bringing depth and emotion to the open-air riverside stage. This was an opportunity for the city’s tourism sector to continue promoting and introducing the image of a modern, creative Thu Dau Mot City that attracts visitors to travel and stay in the province, contributing positively to socio-economic development locally and nationwide.
