NLT Group x TP.PR-TC | Smart lighting and smart public address project

Implementing the strategic cooperation agreement between the peoples committee of Phan Rang – Thap Cham City and Nam Long technology investment group (NLT Group) to develop the digital transformation project and build Phan Rang – Thap Cham City into a smart city for the 2021-2025 period and orientation to 2030, on 27/04/2023 the two parties held the inauguration and handover ceremony for the smart lighting and smart public address project for Phan Rang – Thap Cham City.

In recent years, the urbanization development pace of Ninh Thuan province has had a high growth rate, impacting many core aspects from transportation, environment, economy, and daily life, therefore investing in a smart lighting system is an inevitable requirement, contributing momentum for smart urban development.

The public lighting system is one of the important technical infrastructure items of the city and consumes a relatively large amount of electricity. Therefore, to ensure at least 30% savings of total electricity consumption in the 2023 – 2025 period for public lighting activities in accordance with Directive No 20 of the Prime Minister on strengthening electricity saving in the 2023 – 2025 period and the following years, the provincial peoples committee continues to direct departments, sectors, and localities to actively research, assess the current status, and build synchronized and effective smart lighting solutions.

In order to contribute to the goal of realizing the goal of becoming a smart city, towards rapid growth and sustainable development, recently NLT Group has cooperated with the city central authority to promote the application of information technology in all aspects of socio economic life. At the ceremony, Dr. Bui Huu Phu shared a few remarks, for the public lighting sector, applying a smart lighting power system will show outstanding effectiveness compared to the old lighting system, contributing to ensuring economical and efficient energy use, protecting the environment and community health. By promoting investment solutions for smart LED lighting systems, it can reduce 75 – 80% of electricity consumption for local public lighting works.
