NLT Group builds a smart infrastructure digitalization system for Can Tho City

On 03/10/2023 at the Peoples Committee of Can Tho City, keeping pace with the digital trend and aiming to build e government administration, NLT Group cooperated with the Peoples Committee of Can Tho City and relevant departments and agencies to develop a multi sector smart infrastructure digital management software system. Through this, we aim to enhance management efficiency and improve service quality for residents, contributing to administrative reform across the city.

According to the assessment of the City Department of Construction, the implementation of digital transformation in the sector still faces certain difficulties and limitations. For example, information technology infrastructure has not been invested in synchronously; sector databases remain fragmented and scattered across many locations, not yet ensuring the citys policy on data sharing and common use across levels and sectors; human resources are both insufficient and limited in qualifications and capabilities…

Faced with that challenge, NLT Group coordinated with the Department to organize a workshop reporting the implementation progress of the Public green tree management system in Can Tho City using information technology. The system is built on the IoT technology platform, GIS digital maps, and Cloud for the purpose of collecting data, mapping green trees, and modernizing the management inspection and care of urban greenery. The green tree digitalization platform is not only an effective right hand tool supporting state management work but also shares information to serve professional operations for the Department of Construction, districts, and infrastructure planning management enterprises in Can Tho City.

At the workshop, Dr. Bui Huu Phu – Chairman of NLT Group shared a few remarks: the implementation of the Public green tree management system is a typical example of how applying information technology delivers positive effectiveness in monitoring and management. The project ensures interoperable connectivity with other e government systems, contributing practical value for the government residents and businesses in the area, thereby creating a breakthrough foundation in the provinces digital transformation process.

NLT Group leadership also emphasized: with NLTs modern core GIS digital mapping technology, the public green tree management system will be a platform for the Peoples Committee of Can Tho City to complete the provinces geospatial infrastructure, contributing to building a digital government and serving residents and businesses better and better. Through this, it encourages residents to participate more in protecting urban greenery and enhances the connection between management units and residents.

Along with that, the Director of the Can Tho City Department of Construction also stated: in 2023, Can Tho City hopes there will be fundamental solutions running in parallel to achieve specific targets under Resolution No 10 NQ TU dated 11/4/2017 on building Can Tho City to develop into a smart city for the 2016 – 2025 period, with orientation to 2030. Building the smart city infrastructure foundation with a centralized monitoring and operation center connected to telecommunications infrastructure IoT receiving and processing information flows across the citys socio economic life sectors, forming a large integrated information system and database to exploit and provide visual information supporting leaders at all levels in making timely and accurate decisions.

Sharing the same direction, in the coming time, NLT Group will continue to accompany departments and agencies of Can Tho City to build and develop a smart city associated with building e government, implementing digital transformation to carry out planning, construction, and integrated smart urban development on the basis of geographic applications GIS, serving as the foundation for developing a smart and sustainable city.
