The event will take place from January 21, 2025 to February 3, 2025 (the 6th day of the lunar calendar) at Bien Hung Park, Bien Hoa City.
Main activities include:
January 21, 2025: Competitions for making banh chung and banh tet, arranging five-fruit trays, and decorating ancestral altars. In the evening, the opening ceremony will feature lion, unicorn, and dragon dances, cultural performances, and especially the inauguration of the artistic musical fountain program “Gentle Spring Colors of At Ty 2025.”
January 22, 2025: A street festival recreating the old and modern Bien Hoa cityscape, along with a ceremonial procession offering banh to honor ancestors. Cultural, sports, and traditional folk games will create a vibrant and joyful festival atmosphere.
The event not only helps preserve and promote folk cultural values but also provides an opportunity for younger generations to better understand their roots and the meaning of Tet. Activities such as making banh chung, decorating ancestral altars, and storytelling about traditional Tet legends help revive the beauty of Vietnamese culture in modern life.
The most outstanding highlight is the ribbon-cutting ceremony inaugurating the artistic musical fountain program “Gentle Spring Colors of At Ty 2025,” where music, lighting, and special effects blend harmoniously to create a vivid artistic space, attracting thousands of attendees.
