NLT Group implements a digital transformation training course in Ninh Thuan province

On 30/11, NLT Group coordinated with the Peoples Committee of Phan Rang – Thap Cham City to co organize the Digital transformation awareness raising training course with the goal of sharing knowledge, skills, and practical experience in digital transformation, an important aspect in todays digital era along with technology solutions applied in the process of promoting the national digital data agenda.

Directly participating as lecturers in this training course are Mr. Pham Quoc Hoan – Deputy Director of the National Electronic Authentication Center, Ministry of Information and Communications; Mr. Le Hong Ky – Director of the IT Center – VNPT Ninh Thuan; Mr. Nguyen Dang Huy – Director of the VNPT Central digital signature and electronic authentication project; Mr. Bui Huu Phu – Chairman of NLT Group.

Leading experts in the field of digital transformation shared basic knowledge on topics such as: the Industry 4.0 technology revolution, the digital transformation process in Vietnam, digital transformation in government, data infrastructure, the digital ecosystem, and the ecosystem of applied technology solutions in the smart city model. The training course provided officials and participants with the necessary awareness to understand and be ready to receive, adapt to new technologies and use them in work as well as in daily life.

The National Digital Transformation Program approved by the Prime Minister in June 2020 clearly identified people as the center, as the key actors, as the objective, and as the driving force of digital transformation. Over the past more than 3 years, developing digital human resources to serve the national digital transformation process has been considered by ministries, sectors, and localities as one of the foundational tasks and key solutions of highest importance.

With the viewpoint that raising awareness is the prerequisite factor for digital transformation; popularizing digital skills is the key for people to participate in the digital transformation process; and developing human resources is decisive for effective and sustainable digital transformation, the digital transformation training course for officials, civil servants, and public employees in Phan Rang – Thap Cham City received strong attention from the participants.

In the opening speech of the training session, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phu – Chairman of the Peoples Committee of Phan Rang – Thap Cham City shared that digital transformation is an inevitable development trend and the greatest driving force creating breakthrough development in management, economy, and society. Digital transformation not only helps increase productivity and reduce costs but also opens new development space, creating new values beyond traditional values, therefore officials, civil servants, and public employees need to be fully equipped with knowledge of digital transformation, creating motivation to promote the process of building a digital government for the city contributing to the successful implementation of building a digital government.

In particular, with the presence of more than 120 focal point officials participating in direct learning, they need to firmly grasp knowledge about digital transformation, build and enhance digital skill capacity, and orient and determine the roadmap as well as digital transformation strategy at their units to deploy online training at their agencies and units.

Agreeing with the above opinion, the Chairman of NLT Group – Dr. Bui Huu Phu emphasized that developing the information technology sector associated with the digital economy is one of the five spearhead fields of Phan Rang – Thap Cham City, therefore the projects that NLT Group plans to invest in Ninh Thuan province by 2025 are completely aligned with the citys development orientation and will contribute to promoting socio economic development toward modernity and sustainability, taking digital transformation and the digital economy as the focus.

NLT Groups objective in digital transformation is to shift from government and enterprise centered to people and customer centered. Shift from separate solutions to ecosystems of solutions that are connected and exchange information with each other; shift from a technology solution focus to a focus on data concentration and sharing among stakeholders.

NLT Group believes that the common goal of the 2023 digital transformation training courses is to foster knowledge and skills for participants associated with job positions, thereby promoting the national digital transformation process, building a digital government, digital administration, digital economy, and digital society. At the same time, effectively exploit and use digital data, contributing to bringing government, people, and business activities onto the online environment safely.

The closing ceremony of the training course took place at the end of the afternoon on 30/11/2023. The achievements gained in this training course are an important milestone of the cooperation between NLT Group and the Peoples Committee of Phan Rang – Thap Cham City in training and research work as well as opening opportunities for cooperation and deployment in the field of digital transformation between the two parties in the coming time.
